Roberto Pasca di Magliano

Roberto Pasca di Magliano – full professor of Economics.

After the degree in Economics, he specialized at the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Reading (UK). He obtained the visiting professor position at ULCA University (Berkeley, California). He taught at University of Naples, University of Messina and Sapienza University of Rome where he organized and directed the course in International Cooperation and Development. Actually, he teaches Growth Economics at Sapienza University of Rome, Economics and management of innovation at Unitelma Sapienza, University of Rome where he is director of the School of Financial Cooperation and Development and of the Master in International Cooperation, Finance and Development.

He held institutional positions as follows: coordinator of the Italian cooperation policy at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1983-87); coordinator of the European agricultural policy at the Italian Ministry of Agriculture (1991-92); general director of the domestic industrial policies at the Italian Ministry of Industry (2002-05); economic advisor of the Vice Ministry of the Italian Foreign Trade (2006-09).

His research interests concern domestic and international political economy, international financing systems, cooperation policies, governance, sustainable growth. He is author of more of 100 scientific articles and of 18 books.
